This router seamlessly combines advanced networking capabilities, support for private networks, and edge computing functionality to meet today’s demands while preparing you for the future.
The XR60 router now supports AWS IoT Greengrass v2.14, which utilizes the second nucleus rewritten in C++ enabling a smaller footprint. The edge computing enabled router comes backed by 5 years of hardware warranty, technical support, and remote management capabilities through AirLink Complete. Here’s why this is significant:
- Build Once, Deploy Anywhere
Developers can build and test their edge computing code once and deploy it to their AirLink XR60 router or to the cloud. Whether it’s an XR60, the cloud, or your development environment the same AWS IoT Greengrass-enabled code can be used, streamlining development efforts.

The above use cases are often solved today by a combination of a cellular router and an industrial PC running AWS IoT Greengrass. This can result in a reduction in cabinet size, power consumption, solar panel requirements, complexity, and of course overall costs, whilst bringing the speed of 5G networks.
